After the Black death, people who survived lost faith in religion. It was because many people died and they prayed to their sins. Since they lost faith in god/religion they were more open to their everyday life. Humanism encouraged people to focus on education and achievements rather than religion. Merchant class emerges from all of the trade. Which mean more money is made and ideas are exchanged. People were open to looking another cultures because they were no longer only focused on the church. Also because of the renaissance there were more inventions such as the printing press.
