The Renaissance wanted their art to have joy in human beauty and life's pleasures. Art during the renaissance looks more real ( lifelike) than the art from the Middle Ages. the Renaissance artists studied there point of view, or the differences in the way things look when they are close to something or from a distance when there far away. The artists painted, sketched, drew in a way that showed these differences. their paintings seem to look more real than other paintings.
